Role

Public Relations Manager supporting FIVE’s lifestyle hotel destinations and global PR initiatives.

The role is Dubai-based and works across properties in Dubai, Ibiza, Zurich, and New York.

Candidate qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • At least two years of PR experience; agency experience is an advantage.
  • Hotel pre-opening experience is preferred.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Strong media knowledge and relationships, especially with Middle East media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  • Computer literacy and mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Regular travel to Ibiza is required for PR initiatives, media engagements, events, and other business needs.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organization, time management, and attention to detail; able to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement PR strategies to promote FIVE and enhance its market reputation.
  • Lead PR campaigns for new hotel openings, including media coverage and stakeholder engagement.
  • Cultivate relationships with local, regional, and international media.
  • Oversee press releases, interviews, quotes, articles, and other PR communications.
  • Develop editorial pitches and brand narratives for the press.
  • Coordinate media visits and handle media queries, interviews, and speaker engagements.
  • Organize and promote press engagements, interviews, and other PR activities.
  • Conduct site inspections and assist with media events and photoshoots.
  • Build networks of industry experts and thought leaders for potential collaborations.
  • Track industry trends, best practices, and PR and media-management guidelines.
  • Anticipate and handle PR crises and issues discreetly and professionally.
  • Monitor results and metrics, mentor junior team members, and support global PR initiatives and brand consistency across the portfolio.
