Role purpose

Supports PureHealth Group's public relations strategy as communications liaison among Corporate Communications, clinical entities, and the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.

Promotes clinical excellence stories and coordinates communications opportunities across healthcare facilities.

Aims to increase positive media coverage, stakeholder engagement, and PureHealth's share of voice in Abu Dhabi healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary communications liaison among Group Corporate Communications, SEHA, SEHA Clinics, Sakina, SSMC, and the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.
  • Build relationships with communications teams, hospital leadership, clinicians, and government stakeholders.
  • Develop stories covering clinical breakthroughs, research, innovation, patient successes, and service milestones.
  • Coordinate announcements with entity teams and align them with Group priorities; pursue joint campaigns and media engagement with DoH.
  • Draft and review press releases and media materials; translate complex clinical information for public, media, and stakeholder audiences.
  • Coordinate approvals and stakeholder alignment across entities.
  • Support healthcare announcements, media events, and government engagement activities.
  • Monitor media coverage and communications performance; report findings and recommend ways to improve visibility.
  • Collaborate with communications, marketing, digital, and brand teams; follow messaging, brand, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 9 years of PR or communications experience with a strong record of results.
  • Healthcare provider, government, or highly regulated industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing stakeholders and developing communications for executive and clinical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of UAE media and healthcare, and knowledge of government communications and stakeholder engagement in Abu Dhabi.
  • Experience developing press materials, media pitches, and executive communications.
  • Ability to translate complex clinical information into compelling stories.
  • Experience with media monitoring and reporting tools.
