Role overview

Proposal and tender management

• Lead end-to-end RFP/RFQ responses, including process planning, technical and design evaluations, milestone scheduling, content development, formatting, and pricing strategy.
• Develop tender strategies with internal stakeholders to align client requirements with organizational capabilities.
• Review tender documents and prepare technical and commercial clarifications, including exceptions, assumptions, document formats, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate risk reviews and contribute to final proposal submissions.
• Maintain and update sales tools, knowledge platforms, and proposal templates.

Cost estimation and pricing

• Develop costing methodologies and transparent pricing workflows for standard and advanced industrial water treatment technologies.
• Prepare cost estimates and support internal reviews to align technical designs with commercial targets.
• Support supplier negotiations by reviewing quotations and equipment selection, challenging pricing, and pursuing cost reductions to meet target margins.

Technical design and documentation

• Work with the Applications team to validate and finalize process schemes, treatment solutions, and system designs.
• Define process design requirements, performance guarantees, and treatment objectives to meet water and wastewater quality targets.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams on proposal packages, design documentation, and specifications.
• Prepare technical write-ups, plant descriptions, datasheets, design reports, and tender drawings.
• Oversee process drawings including PFDs, BFDs, mass balances, and 2D layouts; provide AutoCAD drafting support for PDFs, P&IDs, preliminary layouts, and process schematics as required.

Vendor engagement and standards

• Engage consultants, vendors, and contractors for equipment and material quotations; participate in supplier meetings to assess compliance and negotiate pricing.
• Ensure vendor inputs are reflected in proposal designs and cost estimates.
• Perform duties in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ADOSH SF standards.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental, mechanical, or process engineering.
• Strong knowledge of DAF, MMF, MBR, MBBR, UF, RO, evaporators, and ZLD systems.
