Role overview
Senior Projects Director – EPC role with single-point operational accountability for the EPC portfolio, reporting to the VP – EPC.
The role integrates Projects, Engineering, and Procurement & Subcontracts leadership to deliver projects safely, on time, on budget, and to client standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational delivery of the full EPC portfolio across onshore and offshore projects.
- Integrate leadership across Projects, Engineering, and Procurement & Subcontracts.
- Meet schedule, budget, quality, HSE, and client commitments.
- Track portfolio priorities, performance, resources, risks, and constraints.
- Lead and develop Project Managers; align engineering deliverables and procurement packages with construction needs and schedules.
- Strengthen forecasting and budget control with Planning & Project Controls.
- Coordinate with Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, and QHSE for end-to-end execution.
- Resolve cross-project issues and support senior client engagement.
- Improve EPC processes, systems, and digitalisation; build leadership capability and support succession planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- Strong senior leadership experience in Oil & Gas EPC project delivery.
- Track record managing multiple complex projects and multidisciplinary teams, onshore and offshore.
- Solid understanding of engineering, procurement, subcontracting, construction, and project controls.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness; confident decision-making and senior stakeholder management.
- Experience delivering UAE / ADNOC projects.
