FinOps Expert / Solution Architect

Role overview

Support and service management

• Own day-to-day L1/L2 support for D365 F&O and D365 Sales, providing prompt resolutions and clear user guidance.
• Manage tickets from intake and prioritization through troubleshooting, resolution, and closure.
• Govern L3 escalations with the third-party vendor, track SLAs, validate UAT fixes, and ensure root-cause analysis.
• Lead incident and problem management to address recurring issues with permanent fixes.

Change and business enablement

• Coordinate controlled changes and releases, including impact assessment, testing, readiness, and post-release validation.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop internal D365 capability through training, documentation, and a network of D365 Champions and super-users.
• Support access and licence governance, permission alignment, and licence cost optimization.

Experience and qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on D365 F&O experience across Finance, Project Management & Accounting, and Supply Chain Management modules.
• Working experience with D365 Sales CRM, including lead and opportunity pipeline, forecasting, and activity management.
• Experience as a Techno-Functional Lead, Functional Consultant, or Solution Architect.
• Hands-on Dynamics configuration, workflows, and functional troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with LCS, Azure DevOps, structured release management, external vendors, and SLA-based support.
• Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to engage business and technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• Microsoft Dynamics certifications in Finance/SCM, Customer Engagement, or Solution Architecture are a plus.
