Role overview
Lead offshore oil and gas EPC projects from start to finish, delivering safely, on time, within budget, and to client standards.
Report to the Senior Project Manager and lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, and construction.
Responsibilities
- Lead the EPC lifecycle from planning and mobilisation through project close-out.
- Own project financials, P&L, cost control, forecasting, schedules, budgets, risk, change, and scope.
- Lead cross-discipline teams and coordinate Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Automation interfaces.
- Support preconstruction, estimating, and proposal development.
- Manage contract administration, variations, claims, and disputes.
- Build stakeholder relationships; track KPIs and apply lessons learned.
- Ensure HSE, quality, and regulatory compliance; mentor project engineers and junior project management professionals.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
- 12–15 years of oil and gas brownfield and greenfield facilities experience with EPC contractors.
- Proven record managing large oil and gas EPC projects.
- Strong skills in cost control, scheduling, risk management, and quality systems.
- Knowledge of contract and stakeholder management; experience leading large cross-discipline, multi-supplier teams.
- Knowledge of local contracting standards and international safety and regulatory requirements.
- PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage; Arabic language skills are desirable.
