Role overview

Planning and coordination duties

• Prepares detailed schedules, baseline programmes, WBS, activity sequences, and milestones using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Coordinates with project managers, site engineers, quantity surveyors, design teams, procurement, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Monitors daily and weekly progress, collects site updates, and prepares weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Identifies delays, critical activities, and risks; prepares recovery programmes and recommends corrective actions.
• Tracks procurement, materials, approvals, drawings, subcontractor activities, manpower, and resources against the programme.
• Prepares weekly, two-week, and three-week look-ahead schedules and updates programmes for actual progress and approved changes.
• Assists with EOT claims and delay analysis; maintains records of progress, delays, approvals, instructions, and variations.
• Attends planning and coordination meetings, reports programme updates, and supports timely completion and handover.

Required qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE project planning experience; interior fit-out or construction experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project, and experience preparing and monitoring construction or fit-out programmes.
• Understands fit-out activities including civil works, partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, MEP coordination, painting, and finishes.
• Experience in progress tracking, delay analysis, recovery planning, and reporting; good knowledge of documentation and construction procedures.
• Strong coordination and communication skills; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred skills

• UAE interior fit-out experience and experience with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers are preferred.
• Knowledge of S-curves, resource loading, critical path analysis, earned value or progress measurement, Excel, and project reports is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities is preferred.

Pay

• AED 7,000–8,000 per month.
