Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed schedules and programmes; prepare baseline, recovery, look-ahead, and updated schedules.
• Monitor progress against baselines, collect and verify updates, and track milestones, critical activities, and deliverables.
• Identify delays, slippages, and risks; assist the Project Manager with mitigation and recovery plans.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, progress charts, manpower histograms, and other planning reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, site supervisors, procurement, estimation, and subcontractors.
• Monitor manpower, material, and resource requirements against schedules, and update schedules based on actual site progress.
• Assist with delay analysis and Extension of Time documentation when required.
• Maintain planning records and report project progress, delays, and forecast completion dates to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of UAE experience in construction or fit-out planning.
• Strong experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Understanding of construction and interior fit-out activities; experience preparing and monitoring project schedules.
• Knowledge of critical path, resource planning, progress measurement, and delay analysis.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills; able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• UAE fit-out contracting experience is an advantage.

• Preferred skills listed include Primavera P6, MS Project, advanced MS Excel, project scheduling, progress monitoring, critical path analysis, delay analysis, resource planning, S-curve and progress reporting, and construction and fit-out planning.

Pay

• Pay is AED 3,500–7,000 per month.
