Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- Significant risk and compliance project experience; 10+ years of overall IT experience, including at least five years in banking.
- Good understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and practices, including Waterfall, Hybrid, or Agile approaches.
- PMI certification or equivalent is an advantage.
- Techno-functional capability, cross-functional engagement, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Hands-on Microsoft Project experience is required; MPP knowledge is mandatory.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including engagement with senior management.
- Familiarity with project performance monitoring principles and metrics; in-depth banking and technology knowledge.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing teams of more than five to ten people.
Key accountabilities
- Deliver projects and align IT, business, operations, and vendor teams for timely, high-quality outcomes.
- Manage scope, time, and budget through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure; handle at least three projects at a time.
- Create project work plans, monitor deliverables, manage daily operations, and resolve challenges to enable on-time delivery.
- Communicate with stakeholders, support customer satisfaction, and complete and store project documentation.
- Monitor projects and provide senior-management updates on status, challenges, risks, and mitigations.
- Ensure delivery on time and within budget.
Preferred background
- Background in risk applications such as Credit Risk Management Standards, data delivery for model implementation, or model lifecycle management is preferred.
