Learning & Capability Specialist

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver learning, capability-development, governance-awareness, and compliance-awareness initiatives.
• Conduct learning-needs analysis, skills-gap assessments, and capability reviews; recommend development interventions.
• Maintain role-based learning pathways and training plans aligned to technology workforce needs.
• Coordinate training programs, workshops, awareness sessions, assessments, certifications, and campaigns.
• Support employee understanding and adoption of approved policies, procedures, and ways of working.
• Maintain program plans, action trackers, training records, evidence repositories, and documentation.
• Track milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and remediation actions; provide progress updates.
• Create and maintain dashboards, learning reports, and management information using Power BI and Excel.
• Coordinate with Technology, HR, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and external learning providers.
• Measure participation, completion, certification achievement, learning effectiveness, and capability improvement.
• Improve learning, capability, and awareness processes continuously.

Experience requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development, Capability Development, Governance, Compliance Awareness, Learning Operations, or Workforce Capability Management.
• Technology or regulated financial-services experience is preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with learning-needs analysis, skills-gap assessments, capability reviews, and role-based learning pathways.
• Experience delivering instructor-led training, workshops, awareness sessions, and stakeholder briefings.
• Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, analytical reporting, organization, documentation, and evidence-management skills.
• Experience developing dashboards and management reports with Power BI.
• Experience using JIRA for action tracking and milestone management, and Confluence for documentation and knowledge management.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
