Overview

We are looking for an experienced

Project Manager with strong Retail Banking domain expertise

to lead end-to-end delivery of complex banking transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale banking projects, ensuring successful execution, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder alignment across business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of retail banking transformation programs, including digital banking, core banking enhancements, and channel integration initiatives
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
  • Drive project execution using industry-standard methodologies (Agile / Waterfall / Hybrid)
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, QA teams, and external vendors
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal governance, and audit requirements
  • Track project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively
  • Manage stakeholder communication, reporting, and escalation management
  • Oversee testing cycles including UAT and ensure successful production deployment
  • Drive change management and user adoption across business units

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8–12+ years of experience in IT Project Management
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Retail Banking domain
  • Strong experience delivering banking transformation projects such as:

• Core Banking Systems

  • Payments and Cards Systems

• Customer Onboarding And KYC Solutions

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and project management methodologies
  • Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise programs
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working with vendors and third-party implementation partners
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP / PRINCE2 certification preferred
  • Experience in GCC banking projects is an advantage
  • Knowledge of banking regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar PM tools
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and team coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments
  • Strong attention to detail and delivery focus
