Project Manager(Financial & Tax Domain)

Overview

• We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale, national transformation initiatives in the financial and tax domains.
• This role involves managing multi-year, multi-million-dollar programs covering digital tax systems, e-invoicing frameworks, regulatory/legal harmonization, and nationwide stakeholder engagement—fully aligned with strategic national objectives.
• This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership across complex, multi-workstream environments spanning technology, policy, and public engagement.
• 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale national programs aligned with government priorities
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, communication strategies, and escalation frameworks
• Oversee multiple workstreams including:
• – Information Systems (small, medium, and large-scale implementations)
• – Legal & Policy Frameworks ensuring compliance with tax laws and financial regulations
• – National Awareness Campaigns promoting tax systems and digital platforms
• Drive national rollout programs with phased execution across technical, legal, and public engagement streams
• Break down complex initiatives into structured work packages for efficient execution and tracking
• Define and manage RACI matrices to ensure clear ownership and accountability across stakeholders
• Proactively manage risks, issues, and escalations to ensure successful delivery
• Engage with senior stakeholders including government entities, legal authorities, IT teams, and external consultants
• Manage budgets, resources, and delivery timelines for multi-million-dollar programs
• Monitor progress and provide clear, consistent reporting to senior leadership
• 🎓 Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• PMP / PRINCE2 certification highly desirable
• 15+ years of experience in managing large-scale projects in financial services, taxation, or public sector domains
• Strong experience in ERP or national system implementations is preferred
• Proven track record in delivering multi-year national transformation or regulatory programs
• Strong expertise in stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and governance frameworks
• Ability to operate effectively in complex, high-pressure environments
