Project Manager (Payment Gateway & Digital Wallet) -Local Candidates

Role Overview

Payment Gateway (Primary)

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Payment Gateway integration projects from requirements to production rollout and post-go-live support.
• Manage integration with banks, acquiring networks, payment methods, and third-party service providers.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Ensure robust QA practices, including validation of payment flows and transaction accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards including

PCI DSS, EMV, 3DS

• , and security protocols.
• Coordinate with development teams to resolve defects, risks, and production issues.
• Manage external vendors and third-party partners for seamless integrations.
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks, milestones, and delivery timelines to senior stakeholders.

Digital Wallet (Secondary)

• Support planning and delivery of digital wallet features across mobile platforms.
• Work closely with technical teams to understand architecture, APIs, and backend systems.
• Define wallet-related requirements aligned with business and user experience goals.
• Manage third-party integrations within the digital wallet ecosystem.
• Track progress of wallet-related workstreams within broader digital channels programs.

Payments Domain Expertise

• Strong experience in
• payment processing systems and payment gateway architectures

• Understanding of payment rails, acquiring banks, switching networks, and financial messaging standards.
• Knowledge of

Project Management & Delivery

• 8+ years in techno-functional project management roles.
• 5+ years of experience in payments or financial services domain.
• Strong experience managing cross-functional technology projects.
• Hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum delivery models.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination abilities.
• Experience with project tracking and documentation tools.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.
• Proven experience in banking or financial services projects.

Preferred

• PMP / PRINCE2 certification (or equivalent).
• Certification in payments domain (e.g., CPP – Certified Payments Professional).
