Responsibilities
- Lead delivery from initiation and planning through design, implementation, deployment and closeout.
- Facilitate stakeholder sessions; define scope, outcomes, assumptions, dependencies and success measures.
- Maintain project plans, schedules, resource plans, RAID logs, decision records and governance materials.
- Coordinate workstreams, delivery teams and vendors; manage interdependencies and project finances.
- Support business analysis, process mapping, requirements, future-state design and technology implementation.
- Coordinate change readiness, communications, training, go-live and operational transition.
- Define benefits measures and reporting; manage quality, documentation, risks and issues.
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of project management experience delivering complex cross-functional projects.
- Insurance industry and/or public sector experience is required; experience in both is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated delivery within scope, schedule and budget, managing quality, ambiguity and multiple workstreams.
- Experience with project planning, financial forecasts, governance, stakeholder management and matrix teams.
- Experience supporting business and technology implementation, change management, go-live and deployment.
- Hands-on Azure DevOps delivery-management experience is required.
- Strong analytical, communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills; experience driving process improvement.
- Lean and SAFe understanding and ability to apply agile principles in a hybrid delivery environment.
- PMP, PgMP or equivalent certification is preferred; Lean, Six Sigma or Prosci certification is an asset.
- Knowledge of claims, workers’ compensation, insurance operations or disability management is an asset.
