Role Overview
Affinity is recruiting a Business Lead Consultant for a healthcare client.
The consultant will contribute to implementing a modern platform supporting Document/Content Management (DCM) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).
The engagement is a long-term contract in the Lower Mainland.
Responsibilities
- Represent business owners and their priorities throughout planning, design, and implementation.
- Translate business objectives into requirements, future-state processes, and solution design inputs.
- Challenge current processes and apply industry best practices.
- Prepare updates for executive sponsors and senior leaders, frame decisions, and escalate issues.
- Partner with the internal project team and vendor to keep business needs central.
- Help define document and contract standards, templates, approval workflows, and governance.
- Support stakeholder alignment, scope definition, and implementation phasing.
- Provide recommendations and informed opinions as a thought leader.
Qualifications
- Senior business-side technology implementation experience as a business lead, architect, owner representative, senior BA, or similar is required.
- Experience implementing CLM and/or DCM/ECM platforms is required.
- Requires executive presence, comfort with senior leaders, strategic thinking, and the ability to turn strategy into requirements, process designs, and plans.
Assets
- Experience in insurance, financial services, health, public sector, or Crown corporations is an asset.
- Experience with policy, benefits, or terms-and-conditions documents and tailored templates is an asset.
- Unionized-environment experience is an asset.
- Project management background is helpful, although this role does not run the schedule.
- Change management experience is an asset.
