Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation through completion; develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Act as a key client contact, maintain relationships, and provide regular communication and accurate project updates.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subconsultants, and subject matter experts for integrated design delivery.
• Monitor progress and performance against objectives and deliverables; identify and mitigate risks and issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, health and safety requirements, and client expectations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, authorities, contractors, consultants, and other third parties.
• Support design assurance, technical governance, approvals, permits, and stakeholder agreements as required.
• Review deliverables for quality and project requirements; support cost control, change management, and contract administration.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and project management best practices.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of project management experience within a design practice.
• Experience managing data centre projects through multiple delivery phases.
• Strong client-facing experience, preferably in consultancy, engineering, or project delivery.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, governance, and reporting.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, and quality requirements; proven successful project delivery.

Preferred certification

• PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent professional certification is advantageous.
