Role Overview
Deliver complex data centre projects across the region within a multidisciplinary design consultancy.
Lead integrated design teams across architecture, building engineering, specialist disciplines, infrastructure, utilities, and master planning.
Manage projects across all delivery phases to meet client requirements, quality standards, and business objectives.
The role is client-facing and involves communication, coordination, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Manage data centre projects from initiation through completion and maintain client relationships.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans; track progress against objectives and deliverables.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate design with internal teams, subconsultants, and subject matter experts.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues; support design assurance and technical governance.
- Ensure regulatory, standards, health and safety, quality, and client requirements are met.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, authorities, contractors, consultants, and third parties.
- Support permits, approvals, and stakeholder agreements where needed.
- Prepare project reports and provide accurate client and internal updates.
- Support cost control, change management, contract administration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of project management experience within a design practice.
- Experience managing data centre projects through multiple phases of delivery.
- Strong client-facing experience, preferably within consultancy, engineering, or project delivery.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, governance, and reporting.
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, and quality requirements.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery and meeting client expectations.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent professional certification is advantageous.
