Project Manager Civil

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of hotel construction projects.
• Manage the overall project lifecycle from mobilization to final handover.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, local regulations, and safety requirements.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and risks.
• Manage project commercial aspects, including variation orders, cost control, and budget forecasting.
• Conduct regular progress meetings with stakeholders and prepare project status reports.
• Review engineering drawings, technical submittals, and construction methodologies.
• Lead and mentor site engineers, construction teams, and project staff.
• Ensure efficient coordination between civil, architectural, MEP, and finishing activities.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout project execution.
• Ensure successful project close-out, snagging, testing & commissioning coordination, and final handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
• Minimum 15 to 20 years of overall experience in the construction industry.
• Mandatory UAE experience with reputable main contractors.
• Proven experience managing hotel construction projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, authority regulations, and project management methodologies.
• Experience managing large multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong understanding of contracts, cost control, procurement, planning, and project scheduling.
• Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
