Role overview

Planning and execution

• Develop project plans for scope, schedule, resources, and budget; review designs, specifications, and contract documents for feasibility and compliance.
• Define project objectives and deliverables aligned with client and organizational goals.
• Oversee daily construction operations, monitor progress and milestones, resolve site challenges, and manage deviations from plans.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, and site teams.

Cost, quality, and safety

• Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and forecasts; monitor expenditures and evaluate variation orders and claims.
• Ensure works comply with designs, codes, and quality standards; conduct inspections and work with QA/QC teams to resolve non-conformities.
• Approve quality documentation, testing reports, and inspection records.
• Promote a strong safety culture, enforce HSE policies and legal requirements, and conduct safety reviews and incident investigations.

Leadership, stakeholders, and reporting

• Act as primary contact for clients, consultants, and contractors; lead coordination meetings and maintain stakeholder alignment.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, allocate resources, ensure availability of manpower, materials, and equipment, and mentor team members.
• Identify project risks, plan mitigations, resolve technical, contractual, and operational issues, and escalate critical matters promptly.
• Maintain project records, prepare progress and KPI reports, and ensure timely as-built drawings and handover documentation.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or construction engineering; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• The description states minimum 20–25 years of villa project experience, but the wording is unclear.
• Minimum 8–10 years of construction project management experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership role, is required.
• Proven track record delivering medium- to large-scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools.
