Civil Project Engineer

Role overview

Location and site work

• The role is based in Dubai and includes day-to-day construction site supervision.

Project planning and coordination

• Prepare schedules, work plans, and resource allocations with project managers.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Site delivery and compliance

• Supervise construction activities and monitor progress, delays, and corrective actions.
• Ensure appropriate use of materials, equipment, and labor.
• Inspect work, coordinate testing, and enforce quality, safety, environmental, labor, and company requirements.

Reporting and technical support

• Maintain project records, site reports, progress updates, and issue logs; prepare status, cost, and schedule reports.
• Support audits by providing project documentation.
• Resolve technical challenges, review contractor submittals and shop drawings, and recommend value-engineering solutions.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in civil construction projects.
• Minimum 6–10 years of experience in civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management, and quality control.
• Large-scale infrastructure, commercial, or residential project experience is preferred.
