Project Manager (Aluminum & Façade )

Role overview

Project delivery and leadership

• Lead initiation, planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and handover; deliver to schedule, budget, technical specifications, and client expectations.
• Manage and mentor project engineers, site supervisors, draftsmen, and subcontractors; allocate resources and foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Act as primary contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders; lead progress meetings, provide updates, and resolve concerns.
• Develop budgets, monitor spending and variations, review BOQs and change orders, and implement cost controls.
• Identify design, procurement, logistics, and site risks; implement mitigation and corrective actions.
• Oversee daily site activity and coordinate contractors, consultants, and trades against drawings, submittals, method statements, and timelines.
• Manage procurement schedules and suppliers, evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and support timely material delivery and workmanship standards.
• Prepare weekly or monthly progress reports, cash flow forecasts, and risk assessments for management and clients.
• Enforce HSE rules and site safety protocols, including toolbox talks.

Quality and handover

• Enforce QA/QC procedures and compliance with UAE building codes, façade standards, and project specifications.
• Conduct inspections and snagging and secure final approvals before handover.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of overall project management experience, including at least 8 years in aluminum and glazing or façade projects in the UAE or GCC.
• Experience with high-rise, commercial, hospitality, or large residential developments.
• Valid UAE driving license is essential due to frequent site visits and client coordination.
• PMP certification or a Master’s degree is an advantage.

Technical expertise and tools

• Knowledge of curtain wall systems, unitized façades, structural glazing, skylights, ACP cladding, and aluminum fabrication and installation techniques.
• Familiarity with shop drawings, structural calculations, and material specifications.
• MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office proficiency is preferred.
• Leadership, team management, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, decision-making, attention to detail, and organization are emphasized.

Work location

• Work location is in person; frequent site visits are required.

Pay

• Pay is AED 13,000–17,000 per month.
