Project Manager (Aluminum & Façade )

Position overview

Project delivery and site leadership

• Manage projects from planning through fabrication, installation, testing, and final handover.
• Develop schedules, work plans, resource allocations, and execution strategies; deliver within approved budgets and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate design, estimation, procurement, production, and site teams.
• Lead project engineers, site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and installation teams.
• Monitor site work against approved drawings, specifications, and schedules; conduct visits, reviews, and coordination meetings.
• Resolve technical and operational delivery issues.
• Oversee curtain walls, windows, doors, shopfronts, cladding, and related architectural systems.
• Coordinate shop drawings, submittals, method statements, material approvals, technical submissions, and stakeholder approvals.
• Coordinate fabrication with site installation.

Commercial, client, and quality management

• Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow, forecasts, expenditure, material usage, manpower costs, and subcontractor expenses.
• Coordinate variations, additional works, claims, and contractual obligations; seek productivity and profitability improvements.
• Serve as the main contact for clients, consultants, and main contractors; provide updates on progress, costs, risks, and issues.
• Coordinate inspections, snagging, final handover, and closeout.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, UAE regulations, quality standards, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to timelines, costs, materials, and site execution.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project records, approvals, correspondence, and handover documentation; report critical issues and recovery plans to senior management.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of overall project management experience, including at least 8 years in aluminum and glazing or façade projects.
• Proven experience with an aluminum and glazing contractor in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of aluminum and glazing systems, fabrication processes, installation methods, and construction drawings.
• Experience managing multiple project activities, site teams, budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, cost control, risk management, and contractual coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera; valid UAE driving license.
