Role overview

Procurement planning and suppliers

• Develop procurement strategies and project plans aligned with requirements, budgets, schedules, approved submittals, production needs, and site priorities.
• Lead procurement for aluminium and façade systems, curtain walls, glazing, architectural metal works, and structural steel.
• Identify, evaluate, qualify, and maintain local and international supplier relationships; build supplier networks across the UAE and other markets.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, credit facilities, warranties, and delivery conditions; assess supplier performance and resolve disputes, delivery issues, and material non-conformities.

Procurement operations and cost control

• Manage RFQs, quotations, commercial comparisons, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and procurement records.
• Review material specifications, quantities, technical requirements, and approved submittals with engineering and estimation teams.
• Track order status, lead times, delivery schedules, and outstanding purchase commitments.
• Implement cost savings, research and benchmark market prices, monitor material trends and availability, and support project budgeting and cost forecasting.
• Identify opportunities for bulk purchasing, framework agreements, and improved commercial terms.

Inventory, delivery, and compliance

• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, production, and project teams to ensure timely material availability; monitor stocks, consumption, orders, and project needs.
• Reduce excess inventory, material waste, urgent purchases, and procurement delays; coordinate local deliveries and international shipments, including customs documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and UAE regulations; maintain transparent records, supplier documentation, and approval workflows.
• Establish and monitor procurement KPIs, supplier performance, savings, delivery reliability, and purchasing efficiency; improve procurement procedures and internal controls.
• Lead and develop procurement team members where applicable.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of procurement experience in the UAE.
• Experience in aluminium and façade, curtain wall, or structural steel contracting and manufacturing is preferred.
