Hiring an experienced Project Engineer – Utilities for a Dubai-based team.
The role focuses on utility works in road and infrastructure projects and calls for 8+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise utility works on road and infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, utility authorities, and project stakeholders.
- Review utility, IFC, and shop drawings and specifications.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and schedules.
- Coordinate utility diversion, protection, relocation, and installation.
- Monitor site progress and work toward timely completion.
- Coordinate utility approvals, inspections, and NOCs with authorities.
- Resolve technical and site-related utility issues; inspect work for HSE and quality compliance.
- Prepare progress and daily site reports and other project documentation.
- Coordinate with planning and quantity surveying teams on progress, quantities, and variations.
- Ensure compliance with RTA requirements, project specifications, and approved standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant road, infrastructure, and utility project experience.
- Strong experience in UAE road and infrastructure projects; RTA project experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of water, sewerage, drainage, irrigation, telecom, electrical, and other underground utility networks.
- Experience in utility diversion, relocation, protection, and coordination.
- Strong knowledge of drawings, specifications, method statements, and site execution.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills; ability to manage site activities and multiple stakeholders.
- UAE experience is stated as mandatory/preferred in the source.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 15,000–20,000 per month.
Workplace
- The role is based in Dubai; work location is in person.
