Full-time resident Project Engineer role with on-site ownership of a luxury hotel development through handover and international brand commissioning.

Core responsibilities
- Direct contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineering teams to meet project timelines, budget, and design specifications.
- Supervise quality of structural elements, luxury finishes, acoustic partitioning, and aesthetic detailing.
- Oversee hotel infrastructure, including HVAC, kitchens, laundries, water filtration, backup power, and security and fire-life-safety systems.
- Administer FIDIC-based contracts and manage variations, change orders, and subcontractor claims.
- Coordinate procurement, customs clearance, logistics, and site delivery of imported materials, fixtures, and FF&E.
- Lead testing and commissioning, brand standard audits, and preparation for hotel operations.
Required experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Requires 10–15 years of construction management experience and at least two completed major four- or five-star hotel projects through handover.
- Requires international high-end hospitality project experience and direct familiarity with international brand guidelines.
- Requires expert proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, or comparable project scheduling and tracking software, plus strong FIDIC knowledge.
- Requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and cultural adaptability when managing diverse workforces.
Desirable qualifications
- A Master’s degree or PMP certification is highly desirable.
Location and travel
- The role requires on-site work; Dubai commute or relocation before starting is preferred.
- Willingness to travel 75% is preferred.
