Project Engineer managing and coordinating aluminum and façade project execution in Qatar.
The role requires technical knowledge and hands-on delivery experience, coordinating stakeholders and site teams to deliver projects on time and to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise aluminum and façade projects from commencement to completion.
- Ensure activities follow approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal departments to resolve technical and site issues.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
- Monitor progress, timelines, and quality standards; supervise engineers, supervisors, and installation teams.
- Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, and site requirements to prevent delays.
- Inspect sites for safety and quality compliance; identify risks, resolve challenges, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare progress reports and update project management.
- Coordinate design, production, procurement, and installation teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5–8 years of project engineering experience in aluminum, façade, glazing, or architectural systems.
- Qatar or GCC construction market experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aluminum façade systems, curtain walls, glazing, cladding, and installation procedures.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Valid UAE driving license is mandatory; willingness to relocate and work in Qatar.
Work arrangement
- Full-time role with in-person work in Qatar.
