Full-time Façade Designer role in Al Quoz, Dubai, within construction, aluminium, façade, and glazing.
Prepare technical drawings for aluminium, façade, glazing, curtain wall, doors, windows, and architectural systems.
The role coordinates with project, engineering, production, and site teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare shop, fabrication, and assembly drawings and installation details for façade and aluminium systems.
- Develop drawings for curtain walls, aluminium façades, glazing, doors, windows, cladding, and architectural metal works.
- Review architectural and structural drawings; prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, and technical drawings.
- Coordinate with project engineers, production teams, site engineers, and other departments; incorporate client and consultant comments.
- Ensure drawings meet approved specifications and technical requirements and align with fabrication and site installation needs.
- Assist with technical issues during fabrication and installation; maintain drawing revisions and project documentation.
- Deliver accurate drawings by project deadlines and provide technical support to the project team.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in façade, aluminium, glazing, or architectural systems design.
- Hands-on façade shop drawing and technical detailing experience; advanced AutoCAD skills are mandatory.
- Knowledge of Revit, SolidWorks, Inventor, or other design software is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings and understand fabrication and installation requirements.
- Attention to detail, communication, coordination, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Experience with façade contractors, fabricators, glazing companies, architectural systems providers, or construction companies is preferred.
- Experience on commercial, residential, hospitality, high-rise, or large-scale façade projects is advantageous.

- Shop drawings, fabrication drawings, technical detailing, AutoCAD, and design coordination.
