Project Director

Collaborate with Operations Director in directing, coordinating, exercising functional authority as well as initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & control, integration, and closing of projects within his area of assigned authority.

Project Leadership and Execution: · Monitor and lead, in collaboration with the Project Management Team (PMT), all site activities to ensure project objectives are achieved within the agreed timeframe and budget parameters. · Confer regularly with PMT Managers to provide strategic advice, resolve challenges, and ensure smooth project execution. · Collaborate with PMT Managers in directing and supervising personnel across project sites. Performance Management and Reporting: · Assess and review project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to determine accurate status and make tactical decisions on resource allocation and staffing requirements to maintain project progress. · Review periodic project status reports prepared by PMT Managers and provide feedback and direction. · Prepare and present monthly summary reports and project updates to the Operations Director. Change Management and Compliance: · Manage project changes and support the process of securing written client approvals for variations prior to commencing related work. · Oversee compliance with all statutory requirements connected with project implementation. · Ensure legal compliance with UAE federal laws and all other applicable legislation and regulations. Resources and Financial Management: · Ensure all PMT departments are adequately resourced and operating efficiently to meet project milestones. · Prepare reports detailing corrective actions when projects fall behind schedule or exceed budget and present recovery plans to the Operations Director. Client Relationship Management: · Maintain regular communication with clients to address requirements, provide updates, and respond to any concerns. · Ensure the proper closure of projects, including the preparation and transmittal of final documentation to clients.

Safety, Quality, and Risk Management: · Enforce the highest standards of safety throughout all stages of project execution to proactively mitigate risks and prevent incidents. · Commit to providing sufficient resources for the establishment and maintenance of the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management System. · Oversee the development, implementation, and adherence to the company’s HSE policy across the project. People Management and Development: · Oversee departmental onboarding and induction, ensuring team members are informed about procedures, guidelines, and policies. · Provide guidance and support to project teams to foster a high-performance culture.

· Bachelor /Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university or colleges. · Preferably PMP qualified. · Minimum 20 years of experience in the civil constructions specifically with Industrial, commercial and residential Building works; minimum of 8 years of GCC management experience. · Has been responsible for major construction of multimillions projects. · Must have proven leadership ability, communications skills, interpersonal skills and sound judgment. · Must be able to develop strong relationships and accounts with clients. · A creative thinker and excellent organizer. · Excellent Oral and written skill in English.
