Project Director
will be responsible for leading and managing complex, high-stakes projects from initiation to completion.
This role ensures the successful delivery of projects by overseeing all aspects, including planning, execution, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
The Project Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and ensure that all project goals are achieved on time, within scope, and within budget.
Job Responsibilities: Project Leadership
- Lead the planning and implementation of large-scale projects, ensuring all deliverables align with organizational objectives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring effective communication across all levels.
- **Team Management:**
- Oversee project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and mentorship to achieve project goals.
- Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and resolve issues promptly.
- Coordinate efforts between departments, vendors, and external partners to ensure project
- alignment.
- **Budget & Resource Management:**
- Create and manage project budgets, ensuring costs remain within approved limits.
- Track and report on project expenditures, making adjustments as needed. Ensure the
- efficient allocation and utilization of resources (personnel, equipment, etc.).
- **Risk & Quality Management:**
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Monitor project quality and performance, ensuring adherence to company standards and client
- expectations.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure project progress, timelines, and quality are on track.
- **Stakeholder & Client Relations:**
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and outcomes.
- Ensure client needs are met, and expectations are aligned with project goals. Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
- **Reporting & Documentation:**
- Prepare detailed project reports for internal stakeholders and clients, highlighting progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Evaluate and report on project outcomes to determine success and areas for improvement.
Required qualifications and years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- **Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management or related roles, with at least 10 years in a leadership position.**
- Experience in healthcare, laboratories, or complex technical projects is highly preferred
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficient in
- project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, or similar). Strong problem-
- solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
