Role Overview
The employer seeks a proactive, detail-oriented Projects Coordinator with an engineering background to support smooth project execution.
The coordinator connects internal departments with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to streamline workflows and accelerate delivery.
Project Coordination
- Align Engineering, Procurement, Estimation, Operations, and Quality Control on communication and project timelines.
- Follow up on task execution, engineering submittals, document approvals, and material orders with internal teams and external entities.
- Identify delays and bottlenecks, resolve conflicts, and expedite project progress.
Documentation and Meetings
- Maintain RFIs, shop drawings, variation requests, and meeting minutes; prepare periodic progress reports for upper management.
- Organize coordination meetings, track action items, and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field, or a diploma with the same job experience.
- Two to four years of project coordination or site engineering experience within an engineering or construction firm.
- Sound understanding of technical drawings, engineering workflows, and project life cycles.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and written and verbal communication skills; English is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project coordination tools; MS Project or Primavera P6 knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving ability, assertive follow-up skills, and a results-driven mindset under tight deadlines.
