The Heavy Trailer Driver delivers goods using a heavy truck over long-distance and intercity routes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver goods over intercity routes or across states or countries.
- Drive long distances.
- Fuel the truck and clean the truck and windows.
- Monitor road conditions and traffic congestion.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws.
- Inspect the trailer before and after trips and record defects.
- Perform other work assigned by management.
