Responsibilities

  • Gather business requirements, prepare functional specifications and documentation, and analyze, develop, and test risk, finance, and compliance work in an IT environment.
  • Manage SAP projects from planning through delivery, including customer interaction, troubleshooting, and people management.
  • Coordinate and standardize integrated solutions across the organization.
  • Manage customer relationships, resolve difficult issues, and identify follow-on business opportunities.
  • Reassess project scope, budget, and timelines when work changes; manage financials and estimate-to-actual variance.
  • Escalate issues, maintain project documents, and report progress and risks to stakeholders.
  • Drive data governance standards and best practices for data pipelines.
  • Deliver project work on schedule and within budget, coordinating internal customers and development, test, and maintenance teams.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of SAP experience and at least 5 years of project or program management experience.
  • At least 3–5 end-to-end SAP implementations as project lead or manager.
  • Prior career experience as a functional consultant, followed by a move into project management.
  • Lead consultant experience in an SAP functional module such as PP, QM, WM, PM, FICO, MM, SD, PS, or EWM.
  • Experience leading and deploying IT projects.
  • Any graduate or postgraduate qualification.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, interpersonal, and stakeholder skills; willingness to travel for project needs.
  • SAP certification is an added advantage.
