Production Supervisor

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily production activities to meet demand and delivery deadlines.
• Supervise molding, extrusion, and other plastic conversion processes.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs with maintenance.
• Ensure production is efficient, on time, within budget, and to standard.
• Enforce safety and quality compliance on the production floor.
• Work with Quality Control to identify defects and implement corrective measures.
• Lead and motivate machine operators, helpers, and supervisors.
• Monitor raw material usage and coordinate with inventory teams to ensure availability.
• Prepare daily production reports and assist with process-improvement data analysis.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Assist with training new staff and upskilling existing team members.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Industrial Production, or a related field.
• 2–7 years of relevant experience in a plastic manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of plastic processing techniques, including injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion.
• Familiarity with production planning tools and ERP systems.
• Good leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Working Conditions

• Factory-floor environment with exposure to machinery, heat, and noise.
• May involve shift work, weekends, and overtime depending on production demands.
• Work location is in person.

Compensation

• Full-time role paying AED 5,000–7,000 per month.
