Estimation /sales coordinator

Job Purpose

Role Context

• Department: Sales / Estimation.
• Reports to the Sales Manager or General Manager.
• The role is based in the UAE within a manufacturing industry setting.
• Work location is in person.

Estimation and Quotation

• Receive and review customer enquiries, RFQs, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Understand customer requirements and identify technical or commercial requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates for materials, production processes, labour, tooling, packaging, transportation, and other applicable costs.
• Obtain and compare material and supplier prices from purchasing or approved suppliers.
• Prepare competitive quotations and submit them within required deadlines.
• Ensure quantities, specifications, prices, lead times, payment terms, and validity are accurate.
• Review historical pricing and maintain quotation and costing records.
• Revise quotations based on customer requirements or specification changes.

Customer and Order Coordination

• Coordinate with customers regarding enquiries, quotations, samples, orders, delivery schedules, and other requirements.
• Follow up submitted quotations and maintain an updated quotation status report.
• Coordinate with the Sales Manager regarding pending enquiries and potential orders.
• Prepare sales orders, order confirmations, proforma invoices, and other required documents.
• Check customer purchase orders against quotations before processing.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, warehouse, quality, and logistics to process orders on time.
• Monitor order progress and provide customers with timely updates.
• Follow up on approvals, samples, artwork, specifications, and other required information.
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate internally for timely resolution.

Role Requirements

• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Commercial awareness and technical understanding are required.
• The role requires coordination across customers, sales, production, purchasing, warehouse, quality, and logistics teams.
• The role requires follow-up of quotations and customer orders from enquiry through delivery.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 3,000 to AED 3,500 per month.
