Product strategy and assortment
- Define and implement the buying and merchandising product strategy and roadmap in line with business goals and market trends.
- Optimize product assortment, seasonal trends, inventory levels, and pricing with the buying team.
- Use analytics to track sales performance, inventory turns, and profitability and inform buying and merchandising decisions.
Cross-functional and customer focus
- Partner with merchandising, buying, supply chain, and operations teams on efficient processes and systems for product lifecycle management.
- Refine product offerings to reflect customer preferences, market demand, and the competitive landscape.
- Ensure product availability and assortment meet customer needs across online, in-store, and other channels.
Pricing and supplier relations
- Collaborate with pricing teams on competitive pricing strategies and promotional campaigns that drive sales and margins.
- Negotiate product terms, pricing, and lead times with suppliers and vendors.
- Build supplier relationships to support timely delivery of merchandise meeting quality and cost expectations.
