Experience and qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in trading or brokerage platforms; elsewhere, the posting states a minimum of 6 years.
- Proven exposure to products such as TradeNet.
- Strong understanding of front-to-back brokerage system architecture; expertise in OMS and FIX protocol.
- Deep knowledge of market connectivity with DFM, ADX, and Tadawul; understanding of institutional equities and algorithmic, high-touch, and low-touch order flows.
- Agile delivery experience; JIRA, Git, and CI/CD are listed as example tools.
- Proficient in Oracle and PostgreSQL; experience building and integrating RESTful services.
- Familiarity with Kafka for real-time streaming and event-driven architecture.
- Experience in Java, C++, Node.js, or React.js.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Own the brokerage platform lifecycle from onboarding to execution and settlement; integrate with trading, risk, and compliance systems.
- Improve market connectivity to regional exchanges for low latency and high reliability.
- Lead platform upgrades, vendor coordination, and regulatory alignment.
- Champion agile practices and contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release management.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and resilience.
