About the role

What you will do

• Design iOS and Android apps, responsive websites, and complex dashboards with tables, filters, charts, and roles.
• Build working code prototypes with tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or v0, then hand them to developers.
• Own the bilingual Figma design system, including tokens, components, dark mode, and full RTL mirroring.
• Own the Arabic type scale and font library, including licensing, for products and brand.
• Follow Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design 3, UAE and Dubai design systems, and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility.
• Run quarterly UX audits and ship one or two proactive improvements monthly.
• Use analytics and user feedback to decide what to address first.

Arabic requirements

• Read and write Arabic fluently and produce clear Arabic UI copy for buttons, errors, and empty states.
• Show proven Arabic-first RTL product work in a portfolio; English screens simply flipped to RTL do not meet the requirement.
• Know Arabic UI fonts, including examples such as Noto Kufi Arabic, Alexandria, Dubai Font, and IBM Plex Sans Arabic, and how to pair them with Latin fonts.
• Understand RTL mirroring, bidirectional text, numerals, and Arabic line height.
• Implement RTL correctly in code using CSS logical properties, the dir attribute, or Flutter directionality.

Must have

• At least five years of product design experience, with a shipped mobile app and dashboard product in the portfolio.
• Expert Figma skills covering variables, components, auto layout, and Dev Mode.
• Front-end basics in HTML/CSS and React or Flutter, plus experience shipping code or coded prototypes.
• Daily use of AI in design and prototyping.

Nice to have

• Motion and micro-interaction experience using Lottie or Rive.
• Experience with edtech, government, or marketplace products.
• UX research and usability testing experience.

Compensation and offer

• Competitive monthly salary; amount is shared at the screening call.
• Ownership of the design system and product experience; AI-native design and prototyping workflow in Dubai.
