What you'll do

• Produce 3–4 videos monthly, from storyboard to final export.
• Animate archive photos and footage with parallax, 2.5D, then-and-now treatments, restored moments and kinetic Arabic typography.
• Storyboard and create rough animatics for every concept pitch.
• Use AI for backgrounds, b-roll, upscaling, restoration, style exploration and versions; do not use it for the public figure's face, voice or words.
• Create reusable templates and visual systems for successful formats.
• Study Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts weekly and bring three ideas to concept sessions.
• Cover as second editor on the official track on peak days.
• Create app illustrations and motion for the Product Designer, about 20% of work time.

Arabic requirements

• Read and write Arabic fluently.
• Animate Arabic text without breaking letter joins; respect baseline, dots and diacritics.
• Know Naskh, Kufi, Thuluth, Diwani and Ruq'ah script styles and fonts, and when a calligrapher is needed.
• Never use AI to render Arabic text; add it in After Effects, Illustrator or Photoshop.

Must have

• At least 4 years of motion design or social video experience and a reel of short-form work that performed.
• Expert After Effects and Premiere Pro skills, with strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
• Photo animation and compositing skills, including parallax, masking and camera moves.
• Hands-on use of AI video and image tools such as Runway, Veo, Kling, Midjourney, Firefly or Topaz.
• A strong sense of hooks, pacing and platform formats.

Nice to have

• 3D skills with Blender or Cinema 4D, or Lottie/Rive animation.
• Illustration or storyboard drawing skills.
• Emirati or Gulf background is listed as a plus.
