About the role

Official video editing

• Edit official videos from archival footage and photos.
• Deliver same-day or 48-hour edits and 10 or more platform versions from each master.
• Plan official pieces 2–4 weeks ahead with templates ready.
• Set Arabic titles, lower thirds and subtitles to the team's typography standard.

Asset library and workflow

• Gather footage and photos from approved offices, news and government channels, official accounts and company productions.
• Log assets with source, date, event, people, location and usage rights; confirm source and permission before using online media.
• Use AI to transcribe Arabic speech and tag faces, events and places for quick retrieval.
• Build a monthly best-moments selects reel.
• Own templates, file naming, approved-finals archive and music and licence register; coordinate freelance editors on peak days.

Arabic requirements

• Fluent Arabic reading and writing; check subtitles word by word against audio.
• Set Arabic in Premiere Pro and After Effects using the Middle Eastern text engine and RTL without broken letters or letter-spacing.
• Sync Arabic subtitles to natural phrase breaks rather than machine word timing.

Must have

• At least 5 years of professional video editing; archive, documentary, news or official content experience is ideal.
• Expert Premiere Pro and After Effects; DaVinci Resolve for color and clean audio mixing.
• Strong photo restoration, upscaling and cleanup skills using Photoshop and AI upscalers.
• Experience organizing large media libraries with a DAM, Frame.io, Adobe Bridge or similar.
• Understand copyright and usage rights for footage, photos and music.
• Hands-on AI use for transcription, captions, rough cuts and upscaling.
• Proven same-day delivery under pressure, discretion, and comfort with NDAs and approval steps.

Nice to have

• Archive producer or media asset management background.
• UAE newsroom, broadcaster or government media experience.

Compensation

• Competitive monthly salary; amount shared at the screening call.
