Overview
We are seeking a **Procurement Officer** with proven experience in the **Metal Fabrication and Construction industry** in the UAE.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of local suppliers, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage procurement activities efficiently while ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure construction and metal fabrication materials, tools, and equipment.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors across the UAE.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with project and warehouse teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Track market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchase documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering, estimation, and project teams to fulfill procurement requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- **Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience** in procurement within the **Metal Fabrication and Construction sector**.
- Strong knowledge of local UAE suppliers and construction materials.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.
- Valid UAE driving license will be an added advantage.
- Pay: Up to AED3,500.00 per month
