Procurement Officer/ Eng - Landscaping

1. Vendor Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Research and identify potential vendors and suppliers.
• Develop and implement effective procurement and sourcing strategies.
• Establish partnerships with reliable and cost-effective suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier quotations, proposals, and commercial terms.
• Prepare vendor comparison reports for approval by Finance and Accounts prior to purchase.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to secure the best value for the company.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand technical specifications and requirements.

2. Procurement Operations

• Manage procurement activities and support daily purchasing operations.
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requests when required.
• Ensure purchased materials meet required quality and project standards.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams for proper storage and material handling.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate procurement records including vendors, quantities, prices, and orders.
• Update databases with purchase details, delivery schedules, and invoices.
• Ensure timely submission of supplier documents to Accounts and Finance departments.
• Prepare purchase reports, cost analysis reports, and budget tracking summaries.
• Monitor procurement KPIs to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare monthly procurement progress reports for assigned projects.
• Maintain all procurement-related correspondence and documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management (preferably in landscaping or construction).
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of budgeting and cost control principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and procurement systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
