Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, and preparing comparative statements
- Process purchase orders in line with company policies and approved budgets
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and compliance with specifications
- Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and filing systems
- Support inventory monitoring in coordination with storekeeping and warehouse teams
- Track order status and follow up on pending deliveries or discrepancies
- Assist in supplier evaluation and maintain vendor databases
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and local regulations
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand material requirements and timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience in Qatar
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of procurement processes, documentation, and supplier coordination
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good organizational and time management abilities
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (ERP system) (preferred)
- Prior experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse operations (preferred)
- Ability to communicate in Hindi (preferred)
