Job Description:
We are hiring a Procurement Officer for a contracting company specializing in precast, road, and infrastructure projects. The candidate will manage purchasing activities and ensure timely supply of materials for project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Handle purchasing of construction materials (precast, road, infrastructure)
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries
- Ensure materials are delivered on time as per project needs
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and suppliers
- Coordinate with site team, engineers, and management
Requirements:
- Experience in construction procurement (precast/road/infrastructure preferred) including general procurement
- Good knowledge of local suppliers and construction materials
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Basic computer skills (Excel, emails, documentation)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
