Procurement Officer (Long‑Term Opportunity)
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer (Grade 3) for a long‑term opportunity within our Business / Procurement team based in Abu Dhabi. This role suits a procurement professional with strong exposure to tendering, contract support, and vendor management within a process or O&M environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Support development of contract strategies in close coordination with TO & RO
2- Prepare ITT (Invitation to Tender) documents, including commercial terms & conditions
3- Prepare price segregation schedules aligned with contract nature
Manage enquiries, tender clarifications, & receipt of bids
4- Conduct commercial evaluations and recommend the most competitive contractors
5- Lead & support negotiations on price, scope, & contractual terms
6- Advise on contract pricing, budget control, and cost optimization
7- Maintain accurate, auditable procurement and contract records
8- Initiate and manage vendor assessment and preferred contractor development
9- Maintain and continuously update vendor databases
10- Ensure full compliance with HSE, IMS, Ethics, and Business Continuity requirements
11- Represent ITM O&M professionally during negotiations, claims, and coordination meetings
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in Procurement / Purchasing / Warehouse operations
CIPS certification is preferable
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of procurement principles and processes
Experience with Maximo
Process industry or O&M environment experience
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Organized, self‑driven, and a team player
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Access
Language Requirements:
Fluent in English
Arabic is an advantage
Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
