Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to oversee the end-to-end procurement function for our financial services/fintech organization. The role will be responsible for vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, procurement governance, cost optimization, and ensuring procurement activities are aligned with regulatory, operational, and business requirements.

The ideal candidate should have experience in managing procurement within regulated environments, including technology, professional services, compliance, infrastructure, and operational vendor engagements.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Procurement & Vendor Management

• Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle including sourcing, vendor evaluation, onboarding, negotiations, contracting, and renewals
• Identify and onboard vendors in line with company procurement policies and compliance requirements
• Conduct market research and vendor benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing and quality services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and service providers

🔹 Contract Management

• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and business teams for contract review and execution
• Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, pricing structures, and payment terms
• Maintain procurement documentation, contract repository, and audit trails
• Monitor contract renewals, expiries, and vendor obligations

🔹 Governance & Compliance

• Ensure procurement activities comply with internal procurement policies and regulatory expectations
• Support vendor due diligence processes including AML/compliance checks where applicable
• Assist in procurement audits and maintain proper documentation for regulatory reviews
• Ensure segregation of duties and procurement controls are maintained

🔹 Cost Optimization & Budget Management

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies
• Track procurement spend and support budgeting exercises
• Prepare procurement MIS reports and dashboards for management review
• Optimize vendor contracts while maintaining service quality and operational continuity

🔹 Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Technology, Operations, Compliance, Finance, HR, and Business teams
• Understand business requirements and provide procurement support aligned with organizational priorities
• Support strategic procurement initiatives and process improvement projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
• Professional certifications such as: CIPS, CPSM, PMP (preferred)

Preferred Industry Experience

• Financial Services, Fintech, Banking, Exchanges / Trading Platforms, Payments / Digital Assets / Market Infrastructure

Preferred Procurement Categories Experience

Candidates with experience managing procurement across the following areas will be preferred:
