Role overview

Contracting procurement

• Manage project requisitions, RFQs, quote comparisons, negotiations, LPO issuance, and delivery follow-up.
• Source and negotiate subcontract packages and material supply for price, quality, and credit terms.
• Provide supplier and subcontractor quotations to support estimation and tendering.
• Coordinate specifications, submittals, deliveries, and payment schedules with project managers, site teams, and QA/QC.

Ready-mix and dry-mix procurement

• Maintain supply of cement, aggregates, sand, admixtures, additives, and packaging.
• Negotiate volume prices, credit terms, and supply agreements with raw-material suppliers.
• Track material prices and market trends and flag cost risks to management.
• Coordinate quality, testing, and delivery schedules with plant and QA teams.

Cross-division duties

• Maintain an approved supplier and subcontractor database and evaluate supplier performance.
• Enforce approval workflows and procurement controls and keep accurate procurement logs.
• Draft and review purchase orders, subcontract terms, and supplier agreements with the legal team.
• Lead, train, and develop procurement staff; report spend, savings, and supplier performance.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least five years of UAE procurement experience in construction, contracting, or building materials, including at least two years in a lead or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers for construction materials, MEP, and concrete raw materials.
• Experience with BOQs, quotation comparisons, and subcontract procurement; proven negotiation and measurable cost savings.

Skills and credentials

• Proficiency in Excel and ERP or procurement systems; strong communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
• CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent certification is a plus; a valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Compensation and benefits

• Monthly salary is AED 8,000–12,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work arrangement

• Full-time, on-site role in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
