The company seeks an experienced Procurement Manager for procurement of engineering and construction project materials and services.
The role focuses on timely purchasing while maintaining quality standards and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for engineering and construction projects.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors; prepare and issue RFQs.
- Analyze quotations, prepare commercial comparisons, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders and procurement documentation; maintain procurement records and supplier databases.
- Coordinate material requirements and deliveries with project engineers and site teams.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve procurement issues, and ensure materials meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with accounts on invoices and payment processing.
- Maintain supplier relationships, monitor construction-material market trends and pricing, and follow company procurement policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of procurement experience in engineering or construction companies.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, MEP items, and subcontract procurement.
- Good negotiation and communication skills; strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- UAE experience is preferred.
