The Construction Manager (Civil) oversees on-site construction activities and leads delivery safely, on schedule, within budget, and in line with contract requirements and UAE regulations.
The role is based in the United Arab Emirates and requires in-person work.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day site construction activities.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Track progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations, including municipality and civil defense requirements.
- Review and approve method statements, work schedules, and material submittals.
- Control costs, allocate resources, identify risks, and implement mitigations.
- Ensure HSE compliance and resolve technical and operational site issues.
- Lead site engineers, supervisors, and labor teams.
- Arrange timely inspection requests and approvals.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 7 years of civil construction experience in the UAE.
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations and standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Work arrangement
- Work location is in person in the United Arab Emirates.
