***Job Description :-***

The Procurement & Inventory Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory levels to ensure smooth business operations.

The role involves vendor coordination, price negotiation, stock monitoring, cost control, and maintaining accurate inventory records in compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • ***Procurement Duties***
  • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Maintain updated supplier database and price comparison records.
  • Monitor market trends and source cost-effective alternatives
  • .Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and payment processing.
  • Ensure procurement complies with company standards and budget requirements.
  • ***Inventory Management Duties***
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory availability.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/system.
  • Track slow-moving, fast-moving, and obsolete items.
  • Implement proper storage and stock rotation procedures (FIFO/LIFO where applicable).
  • Coordinate with storekeepers and department heads regarding stock requirements.
  • Generate periodic inventory and procurement reports
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement and inventory management (hospitality/FMCG/construction experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of UAE supplier market is an advantage.
