***Job Description :-***The Pastry Chef is responsible for preparing high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods while maintaining consistency, creativity, and hygiene standards.

The role involves managing the pastry section, developing new recipes, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations.

Responcibilities

Prepare and present a wide variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods.

Develop new recipes and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.

Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards.

Manage daily pastry kitchen operations, including production planning and inventory control.

Supervise and train junior pastry staff.

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for ingredient procurement.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations.

Control food costs, minimize waste, and ensure efficient use of resources.

Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team for menu planning and special events.

Ensure proper storage and handling of all ingredients and finished products.

Maintain cooporation with the head chef & the team

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.

Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.

Creativity and attention to detail in presentation.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
